Hi Amiga Fans,
Was just wondering if anyone had tried out AmiKit?? incase your wondering i`m not talking about the website but rather another Workbench
enhancement system aimed @ high end PC`s for high end Amiga Emulation.
The Mininmum that`s recommended is 1800Mhz,i only run a 1500MHz Laptop and found it quite slow plus i haven`t got a decent graphics card. From what i did manage to see it looks more OS 4.0. If anyone has tried it
then let me know if it`s worth the effort in upgrading my PC.
You`ll find it here:-

Brad,
Best of luck with it but i`m not sure that it will work, you would be better using MacUAE and AmigaSYS since they do a version for the Mac. AmiKIT comes with WinUAE and as far as i`m aware the PC is the only system they develop for unlike AmigaSYS who have versions for :-
Amiga
Amithlon
Amiga OS4
MorphOS
Linux
Mac
Pocket PC
XBOX
Windows
From what i read about it you would need to use E-UAE and Linux version
of it. |
