My fave platform game is Giana Sisters all versions 1,2,2a,3 maybe one other one, this was my all time fave platformer, although I must confess Mayhem in Monsterland ran a close 2nd.
So what are your most fave 2 platform games

Yeah Wonderboy and New Zealand Story were 2 others that I often played,in the Arcades as well as at home.

There was a lot of hype about Mayhem in Monsterland, when it was being made by the Rowland twins (brothers) in the UK. Commodore Format ran chapter after chapter in the games development, and even had code from it for its readers demonstrating examples of sprite display and movement.
Wonderboy which I also like very much was made earlier yet both games had great playability, which I guess makes retrogames stand out so much, especially when compared with some of the crap games on PC today

There were a hell of a lot of platformers for the C64 but my favourites would have to be:
Ghosts 'N' Goblins
Cauldron II
