I have not bought anything in a long time!
I have to say though that most of the fun is in the actual finding dont you think?
I mean, you turn up to a garage sale with that eagerness "I wonder if there are any retro games here..." and then you look around and see that oh so familiar site of a pile of NES or master system carts! Man it's fun!!!
One of the coolest finds for me was a few years ago where I went to quite a boring garage sale, the only thig of interest was a green gameboy with the battery cover missing. I picked it up and bought it and as I went to leave I asked them if they had anything else like this.
The woman said, "oh yeah, I have a box with a few things" She then walks away and comes back with a huge box filled with gameboy games, a NES system, loads of games controllers and accessories - I think it cost $10 for a huge box full!
It always pays to ask. because you never know... |

Given stuff for free?
What did you get? I've never been given anything for free from a garage sale - they always seem to want to take my money... |
