I swapped an amiga CD32 for an AMiga 600 last week with TOMZ. this week ive been playing around with various amiga models and also figuring out different ways to modify them, so far i have managed to upgrade the chip ram from 512kb to 1mb, and also have upgraded the CPU from the 68000 to a 68010. im also looking to increase the cpu speed from 7mhz to 12mhz put ill have to see how i go????
aside from that ive had a great time playing with my Amigas once again!
anybody else been playing on their amiga this week? what game / program have you been using? |

wow brad you swapped a CD32.....damn i`m still trying to get my hands on one of those systems
I use my miggy all the time,been going down memory lane this week and using Pro-Tracker,used to use this all the time for making music but must admit over the years i`ve been drawn away from it in favour of tracker software on the PC.
Been playing Settlers this week to,i loved that game when it first came out on the miggy,i forget how many hours i spent playing it all i know was it was to many |

@tomz
Better late than never but to use your keyboard (as i have one also) you
need the SX-1 module that plugs into the back of the CD32 allowing you
to connect keyboard & floppy drive ALSO you could fit a hardrive and 4mb
memory
The SX-1 is becoming very rare and expensive on ebay but it`s well worth
it if....and i say if you can get your hands on one. Not been able to find
a downloadable manual for the CD32 though.
@brad
Sorry for the picture size,was looking for something a little smaller but
it was the best i could find. |
