I just won an auction on ebay for some VR gear - auction number 220157726859
heres a pic:
The thing im most interested in is the VR headset, ive done a bit of research and these things accept both vga input and composite video input. It has real time head tracking so where ever you move your head, the video will be moving as well to wherever you are looking!
ive also seen some projects where people combine this with the NES powerglove, so you can interact with the VR world with your hand (i.e open doors, pick things up, throw things or whatever)
it should be pretty fun to muck around with i think so ill see how i go!
i think it will also be fun to plug in my nes / super nes etc and play games like that. |
