G'day all.
I actually just stumbled onto this site through the Atari auctions on eBay (I usually check them daily).
Still an Atari and Amiga fan here, although the actual machines usually stay in the cupboard while I use the various emulators.
"In the day" I had an Atari 2600 (1982). Got an Atari 400 computer in '83, then upgraded to a 600XL then 800XL by 1985.
Got an ST in 1988 and an Amiga a few years after that.
I co-authored a type-in book of Atari games "More Games for your Atari 600XL" in 1983, and authored "Astounding Arcade Games for your C64" in 1984.
After leaving school, I worked a short time for Successability Software doing educational titles for the C64 - but the company went under mid-'86.
I still play with the old systems on occasion - here is a list of what I have:
Atari 800XL (owned since new), 2 x standard 1050 disk drives
Atari 130XE (picked up for $5 at the dump about 6 years ago)
Atari XEGS (eBayed about 2 years ago)
Atari 1040ST and Megafile 30
Commodore 64, 1541 disk drive
3x Amiga 500 (1 meg)
Apple Mac Quaddra '040
Atari 7800 console, and about 6 x 2600 games
I'll find and upload some of the software I've created soon. I've also done some mods and have more planned. |

I only had a crappy cam up until recently.
When I get time, I'll pull the 130XE apart and provide some pics. |
